The company is a provider of complete equipment and services (including design, engineering, manufacture and technical services) for the upstream oil and gas industry.

OUR MISSION IS TO PRODUCE HIGH-TECH EQUIPMENT FOR THE UP STREAM OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY, COVERING ALL BUSINESS NEEDS THROUGH MASS PRODUCTION, PRODUCING SMALL SERIES OR EVEN EXCLUSIVE CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS.

 To support our claims, we have already invested in state of the art technology such as CNC machine tools for all kind of mechanical processing, hydrostatic test stands (up to 2.000 bar), test stands with nitrogen (up to 1.100 bar), and high-precision monitoring and measuring equipment.

A GEOGRAPHIC CONTEXT WITH RICH OILFIELD TRADITIONS

REPEDE Pressure Control is located in Mizil (Romania), Prahova area – a region with more than 150 years tradition in oil and gas industry.

Romanian Eng. Virgiliu Tacit was the inventor of the first valve adapted to the blowing out oil wells that could close them hydraulically from any distance, even if the eruptive oil well was on fire. The valve was licensed in Romania on May, 15th 1912.

The first oil production manufactory in the world (which was more like a small distillery) was established in Romania, and is dated from 1840. Romania was the first country to report an oil production of 270 tones (according to "The Science of Petroleum - 1938").

This is the location where we benefit from a large infrastructure of more than 30.000 m² of workshops and offices connected to the national infrastructure (E577 – a European road, and a railway).
